Twenty One | Twenty Fun

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...

I survived my twenty-first birthday. Barely. But I did it. Actually, I am convinced that I died and came back to life, and suffered the entire week following August 31. I went out Saturday night at midnight, got bottle service with some of my friends and then the infamous "friends of friends" group who I have never met before and probably will never meet again, but hey, thanks for the free drinks for a few hours. I went home and slept, woke up the next morning and did it all again... this time, with brunch. Not just any brunch I might add, bottomless mimosa brunch. I remember the first half of brunch, and that is about it. And oddly I remember everything from the night before, just the time between brunch and dinner is all a blur, but don't worry, my friends love me and took lots of pictures to remind me the next day what happened... Lots of singing and dancing was involved.
Dinner involved me, "the boy," Erika, Angie, my parents, and my aunt and uncle, and the worst waiter on the face of the planet. Like he made us all very anxious.
Overall my birthday week was successful )if we are counting success as not remembering the majority of your 21st birthday)!

Now here is my birthday weekend in pictures:

Happy 8th of July! I am so behind on posts, that I thought that I had already posted this.. Whoops! Well I finished packing for the 2nd disney trip with the boy, and have some extra time before work and decided to make sure this post was published, and alas, it was not. But here it is! Hope you all had a fun and safe Fourth of July!!!!

Every year since I can remember, my parent and I would have people over for swimming and BBQ and then we would head over to CBS Studio City for fireworks. But this year, we decided to change it up and do something different. Instead of staying home, we decided it would be fun to go out on my dad's cousin's boat for the day! We got there around noon, had lunch, and they started fishing. I had never fished before, so I stayed inside, had a few margaritas, took some pictures, and watched TV. That is, I did all of this until they put the engine on the dinghy, at which point we took the dinghy out a few times, which was a ton a ton of fun!

Outfit:
Hat - Vineyard Vines
Top - Target
Pants - Coldwater Creek

After spending the night on the boat (with not too much sleep) we headed over to the hotel that is walking distance from the harbor and got some breakfast. With this view, it is pretty hard to complain about anything. We ate a lot, had a lot of laughs, and had an over all fun and boat-tastic Fourth of July!!!

Meet My Valentine, Netflix

Friday, February 14, 2014

I jumped the gun and celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday. OOPS. In my defense, I read that St. Valentine's day, not Hallmark's Valentine's Day, can be celebrated at any time of the year! I chose to move it up a day/celebrate the whole weekend!

Last night, my sorority had our date party of the semester, and we went to the movies! This means we literally took over the movie theatre. #ThetaTakeover. We saw "That Awkward Moment." Don't go see it. Don't do it. Yes, there were funny parts, but I would not have paid money to see that movie. No offense to the actors, I would date Zac or Miles in a HEART BEAT, it just wasn't as good as I expected. I brought my friend Eric and I had a large Icee and popcorn. All I needed to make be happy.

I came home to watch Netflix (I finished the first season of The West Wing uhm hi that was intense, and watched the first three episodes of House of Cards. AMAZING.) And I plan to finish the season this weekend. OOPS. I'll probably then watch the first season again, because I am obsessed. Also, there are some parallels in House of Cards and The West Wing in names of Chief Justices and congressmen. Just putting that out there. I watch too much Netflix.

My plans for today include getting a heart shaped bagel, going to work, watching House of Cards, and then having a nice weekend with my friends! Oh and catching up on homework and writing Tuesdays blog post etc, etc... I really don't have a feeling towards Valentine's Day seeing as I have never had a date on Valentine's Day, but I mean I wouldn't complain if someone gave me flowers and I really love the cards and Starbucks gift cards (THAKS MOM!).

Hope you all have a LOVELY weekend. See what I did there?!
