Disney Date

The fact that the two labels for this post are dating and disney makes me really happy. Other than the labels, I don't know where to begin with this post. I guess we can start with the bump in the road. On Saturday, I got a text saying that "the boy's" friends were not coming so of course I freak out and think that that meant that he wasn't coming. I was a little upset because we had already been planning this trip for awhile, but alas, it was just a bump in the road, and all I needed to do was change around the hotel reservations. So instead of picking me up Sunday night and staying at the hotel Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night, he would come down on Monday morning and we would stay in the hotel Monday and Tuesday night.

(Sorry for lack of pictures in advance. I honestly didn't take that many pictures because my phone was hardly out seeing as I was enjoying the company, and we were holding hands most of the time and I had my water bottle in the other hand so, no hands.)

Oh!!! And he eats!!! If you have been following my blog, you would know that I thought that he was a vampire... But he isn't. Kind of bitter sweet, but he does eat food!

Monday morning came and "the boy" met my dad. My dad was on a conference call so it was literally "hi, have fun *handshake* and goodbye." And off we went to Disneyland! We didn't think the hotel would be ready until 2, but we got there around 11:30, and it was ready. So we unpacked a little, and headed over to the parks! We started off with CA Adventure, after lots of deciding, because neither of us could choose what to do first or next.. like the entire trip.

And just for fun, here is a list of all the rides/attractions we went on once, or more than once:
Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion, Small World, Pirates, Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn, Jungle Cruise, Buzz Lightyear, the railroad, Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinocchio, Roger Rabbit, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Teacups, Astro Orbitors (I think that's what it's called), Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, Tarzan's Treehouse, Winnie the Pooh, Star Tours, Innoventions, Muppet Vision 3D, Aladdin the Musical, Tower of Terror (which I am terrified of), Monsters Inc, Soarin Over California, CA Screamin, Little Mermaid, and then of course we saw fantasmic, and parts of the fireworks show!

Overall we went on pretty much all the rides we wanted to, saw some shows, and I even met the brother and brother's girlfriend. On Tuesday, we were in line for a ride when he got a phone call from his brother, asking if we wanted to get dinner with them because they were driving through headed to San Diego. Of course I said yes, but I was super nervous! But before this, there was a little drama, which added to the nerves. I wanted to take a picture in front of the castle a kiss in front of the castle. Which I got, the first night. And it was magical. But that wasn't the "drama" and I put that in quotes because it was only slightly an issue for like half an hour and then I was like okay what is actually going on. SO, we were taking the picture in front of the castle, and the guy was like okay "smile," okay "now hug," and then he was like okay "now kiss." And I could feel "the boy" tense up. He looked at me and I had no words. We just kind of stood there. Mind you, this all happened within a matter of seconds but in moments like this, it felt like forever. We took the kissing picture, scanned the photo pass (which of course is on his pass so I don't know how to ask to see it) and I got my phone back from the guy who took the pictures and the first thing he says after holding my hand is "what if we were cousins?" Like, what? And I kind of laughed it off, and just went with it, but while we were in line for the jungle cruise, we didn't talk. Like, I think that about 5 words were exchanged. I talked to the little kids in line, and he stood behind me. After a solid like ten minutes without talking he came beside me and but his arm around me. (Mind you, we have gotten to the point where we could just be together, and we didn't always have to talk, but still...) It was super comforting to know that he wasn't totally freaked out about what had just happened, but definitely there was still something off. Before the brother called, I asked him if he was okay, and he said that it just caught him off guard, and that he didn't know why a complete stranger was telling us to kiss, let alone kiss in front of a ton of people. Understandable. And after that, everything went back to normal! I thought I would be nervous the whole time, but I was super comfortable and totally myself. AND I DIDN'T PULL A BRIDESMAIDS AND PUT ON MAKEUP OR POP A MINT WHEN I WOKE UP. I don't think I've ever been this comfortable around or with a guy before... like ever. And on top of that we can be completely ourselves and just laugh at the stupid stuff (i.e. when he walked into a tree, or when I tripped and almost fell) and just have fun and be happy. Which is what I need and what I think I deserve.

Meeting the brother and brother's girlfriend was nerve wrecking, yes, but they are honestly the cutest couple ever. They don't make you uncomfortable, and they don't make you uncomfortable like sappy awkwardness, but they're a lot of fun and super sincere, and funny and whenever they would talk about something, they would be sure to take a minute to explain it to me and who the different people are, so that I could understand and take part in the conversation. They only hung out with us for a few hours, but when they left they invited me to come with them on their Disneyland trip in a few weeks, which I took as a total compliment.
Main Street - feat. "the boy"

It was great. I had so so so much fun over all three days, and I worried and panicked for nothing. Like usual. Whoops. When he dropped me off he met my mom, and I think she liked him, which is always reassuring. But yeah... I kinda like this one... Actually I really like him. (And he calls me princess)
