Concerts, Engagements, and Banana Pancakes

Monday, February 10, 2014

I would like to start this post by saying that I did my laundry on Friday and I haven't felt that successful in awhile. It was great. I also started a new Netflix show. Oops. But I think this show was made for me. Like it's everything I like in a show, plus what I am actually interested in, in real life. If you follow me on Twitter than you know that this show is The West Wing. I am so so so obsessed! Also Rob Lowe is a QTPIE so that helps too (: Plus it has been raining all weekend (yay SF) and so I needed something to do while procrastinating doing homework. Friday night I ran errands with the munchkins (my littles) and we got Ike's sandwiches and adventured in the rain! Don't worry, we had a car...

Saturday kind of flew by. I woke up late after not doing anything but watching Netflix the night before, and watched more Netflix and painted my nails. I told you, successful weekend. My mom also sent me a picture of this shirt. I guess that sums it all up, right?

Saturday night was concert night at our school and we had St. Lucia and Krewella, but I didn't stay for Krewella, so I basically just went to a St. Lucia concert. Let's just not ask questions about that night, I'm still connecting the dots and replaying me falling over and over again. I really need to learn how to walk.

Sunday morning it was still raining, and I got brunch with the almost birthday girl, Alex! We went to Eats which is one of my favorite bruncheries in the city (yep, just made that word up) and of course I was craving French Toast, but they didn't have it. I settled with banana chocolate chips pancakes and OH MY DELICIOUSNESS. So good. Also, I am only going to post pictures of breakfast and ice cream on my instagram from now on because that is what gets you people those random people that are following me to like my pictures. Yay for caring about how many Instagram likes I get. The first step is admitting it, right? I know I have a problem...

The rest of Sunday consisted of homework reading and West Wing, I am actually obsessed! With West Wing, not homework because that would be kind of weird...
Sunday night we had chapter and MY LITTLE'S ENGAGEMENT was officially announced! Let the Pinterest wedding board begin! It's crazy to type that, heck she still freaks out when she says "my wedding" or anything out loud but I am so so happy for her and so glad I could be here for this part in her life! It is a huge step and I could not be more excited for her and Josh (the lucky guy!)

Also! Exciting news! I set up my sponsor page!! Go check it out (: I already had my first button swap! Look at me doing cool blogger things...

  4. My little got engaged over Christmas and I'm still upset that I now live 6 hours away and couldn't be there for her announcement in chapter. Our chapter calls it a candlelight and we sing Kite called a Theta Kite as we pass the candle/ring around the room. What does your chapter do for it? I'm super curious because I kinda thought it was just a weird thing we did in the South haha

  7. I totally care about Instagram likes...you're not alone! And that looks like an amazing bruncherie/I'm going to use that word from now on. Also laundry on a Friday is totally productive enough to justify Netflix binging haha ;]
